PLEASE READ THIS : Before I grade this I want to let you know why I have graded each side individually and why I have given each side the grade I have. The main reason I have graded side A as Good Minus is because of a very heavy feelable 0.25cm dig/scratch on the run in groove of The London Boys which is side A. This deep mark is restricted to the run in groove and causes the needle to wobble slightly as the song gets going. It does not jump on my turntable and I have checked this by playing it 5-10 times or more. You must be aware of this heavy 0.25cm mark on the run in groove if you bid on this record as there are no refunds.

Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Side 1: Good Minus (At the start of London Boys there is some slight clicking for 2-3 seconds because of the deep mark but after that I would say that it is quite a sharp and clear sound for the rest of the song, there is some slight noticeable audible crackle throughout the tracks but nothing serious, no skips, no jumps, no sticking. good minus sound quality (Playtested 26th January 2016)

Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Side 2: Very Good + (Quite a sharp and clear sound, there is some slight noticeable audible crackle throughout the tracks but nothing serious, reasonably quiet on the run ins and run offs, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, no serious loud pops or clicks that are noticeable. Very good+  sound quality (Playtested 26th January 2016)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Side 1: Good Minus (Other than the 0.25 deep mark on the run in groove this side would have been graded VG all the way but this slight mark has caused me to grade it down to Good Minus. As stated above it does not jump on my turntable and I have checked this by playing it 5-10 times. Apart from this 0.25cm mark there are no other serious marks on this side, but there is some light superficial hairline marks on this side of the record labels are clean with no rips/tears to the labels, no pen marks or writing on the labels)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Side 2: Very Good + (there are some light superficial hairline marks on this side of the record but generally this side is reasonably clean and not badly marked, these light marks do not affect playback in any way, there are no really nasty deep raised feelable scratches on this side, there are some additional light paper traces from the the record being placed in and out of the sleeve, looks to have been played on a few occasions by looking at it but it has been looked after and cared for quite well, labels are clean with no rips/tears to the labels, no pen marks or writing on the labels)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 15 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it is higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I will not be offering any classical records for sale though. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so.

MINT

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT

The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD

The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD

The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR

The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR

The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD

The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
