Description
David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World
(RCA Victor LSP 4816 UK LP 1970)
This is a UK original "RCA Victor" LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve, & comes with its original picture/ lyric inner sleeve. This is printed on paper.
The record has orange RCA Victor labels & has 1st press -1E/ -1E matrix stampers. All of Bowie's compositions have the "Titanic Music/ Chrysalis" credit. These are not that common. The rear of the sleeve does state "David Bowie - A Mainman Artist" under the sleeve notes, but I believe that this is on all UK original RCA copies.
Sleeve: There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the bottom edge & corner tips. There is some light to mild rubbing wear to the spine. Mild ringwear too. VG condition.
Vinyl: There are some light to very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are some light to very mild pressing marks too. VG++ condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays VG+ overall & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, or mild, crackle in some quieter places.
The inner sleeve is in Near EX condition. There are no seam splits.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
