David Bowie - The Man Who Sold the World Vinyl LP, Original US Press from 1970
Authentic with stamped matrix. !!! NOT A BOOTLEG . Aside from the stamped matrix, other indicators of it's authenticity are that the three lines near the top are longer, starting at the top of the seam down the to the back of the cover (boots have much shorter lines). The "Oh, By Jingo" bubble is just a line space away from the text above it (boots are considerably farther).
The Vinyl is VG - looks great, very glossy. it plays with underlying crackle throughout. Not very noticeable when the music is full but noticeable on quiet parts. A deep cleaning might help remove it, however. There are no scratches and it plays throughout with no skips. Play tested fully and this a good player copy.
The Cover is VG as well. Text on spine is nice and clear. No splits on the spine or the seams. Minor corner wear. Really nice shape. There is some staining/yellowish spotting as you can see in the photos. Particularly noticeable on the white. It looks pretty good overall, however. The photos are a great representaition of this nearly 56 year old Cover.
You can see that it's an original copy, not a bootleg.
