Description
RARE COMPLETE COPY - Includes Poster and Both Original Cards
Up for sale is the 1972 RCA UK reissue of The Man Who Sold the World (LSP-4816). While the vinyl and sleeve show their age a little, this is a rare complete survivor featuring all the original inserts.
The Collector "Grail" Inserts:
• Original Poster: Included (see photos for condition).
• Two Portrait Cards: Both original card inserts are present. These are almost always missing from this release.
• Inner Sleeve: Original lyric inner sleeve included
The Pressing Details:
• Matrix: BPRS 4513 1E A2 (1972 UK First RCA Cut).
• Label: Original Orange RCA Victor labels.
Condition Report (PLEASE READ):
• Vinyl Grade: G (Good). Visual surface marks and wear. Plays through "OK" with some vintage surface noise/crackle, but no skips on my setup.
• Sleeve: G (Good). The sleeve is marked with shelf wear.
• Inserts: Poster has no pinholes, cards are clean.
Why buy this copy?
This is specifically for the collector looking to complete their Bowie set. Finding a copy that still has the poster AND both cards is incredibly difficult. Even if you choose to upgrade the sleeve later, these inserts are essential for a complete 1972 collection.
