Original paper sleeve plus brand new poly lined sleeve.
SLEEVE : Excellent.
A beautiful sleeve There are no splits or tears to the gate-fold sleeve which is solid and has no hand writing. The spine is readable but does have scuffs to the edges. The sleeve has minimal fading as does the inside which contains the lyrics but this is the best copy I have ever seen.
VINYL : Excellent.
The vinyl record is in lovely condition. The record has clearly been played with care. There are light spindle marks on both sides of the label as proof that it has been appreciated. Side one of the vinyl is literally flawless. Side two has a light hairline running across the whole side and a couple of smaller ones, but they do not look serious and they do not effect playback. I have play tested the record and it sounds remarkably crisp and clear with very little deterioration in sound quality and no skips or jumps; Amazing for an original record of this age. I have professionally cleaned it with my Moth Mk II industry standard professional record cleaning machine as shown in the photos, and I shall clean it again before posting the record to the winner of the auction.
This is a lovely item to have in a collection. A truly excellent original piece of history!
As this is a very rare item, I shall allow the auction to run it's course (and will not accept buy now offers) to give everyone a fair chance of acquiring this much sought after record.
