Vinyl Audio Grade & Date of Playtest: Very Good (A sharp and clear sound, there is not much noticeable audible crackle throughout the tracks apart from a bit on side 6, there is only very slight noticeable audible crackle on the run ins and run offs, no skips, no jumps, no sticking, no serious loud pops or clicks that are noticeable. VG sound quality (Playtested 21st March 2019)

Vinyl Visual Grade: Very Good (there are some light superficial hairline surface marks on the record but they are not overpowering or anything, these light marks do not affect playback in any way, there are no really nasty deep or raised scratches on the record, looks to have been played quite rarely by looking at spindle marks and it has been looked after and cared for well, labels are clean but there is a rip/tear to the label on the side 3 label, there is some very slight wear around the spindle holes, no pen marks or writing on the labels, there is a small blemish on track 3 on side 6 which causes some audible crackle for a few minutes or so)

Album Cover Grade: Good (all of the front corners on the lid of the box have a small 1cm split to them, the rear of the box is fine, there is some slight rubbing/wear to the spine, a still legible spine, there is some slight noticeable rubbing/wear to the edges, there are is a small 7cm x 3cm portion on the front of the box where a price sticker has been removed and it has taken the top layer of paper with it, some corner rubbing, the box is reasonably clean and does not have any serious discolouration/staining, overall a G sleeve/box)

All records are graded in complete honesty and with the utmost scrutiny. All records listed have been playtested by me and will not jump, stick, or skip in any way. I have been collecting records now for approximately 16 years and have amassed quite a collection and have decided now is the time to reduce the collection in size. The quality of items listed generally varies but most of the time will be in Excellent condition or thereabouts. If it is higher or lower than Excellent then it will be mentioned in full detail in the grading section above. Most of the records that will be listed will be from the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970s. The genre's will vary from prog rock, soul, reggae, rock n roll, beat, pop, psych. I have some huge rarities in my collection and all will be up for sale at some point in the next year or so.

GRADING SYSTEM BELOW

MINT - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
