Description

On offer today, a demonstration 1st pressing of the 1977 UK 7" Demo single by David Bowie titled: "Sound And Vision / A New Man In a New Town" on the orange and white RCA Records label. The vinyl is in very good plus condition on both sides. 
The record comes housed in a paper sleeve in very good condition.

Side 1: 1. Sound And Vision 
Side 2: 1. A New Man In A new Town
Matrix side 1: PB 0905 - A - 1-E ("A1-E M." etched) Matrix side 2: PB 0905 - B - 1-E ("A1-A M." etched)
Side 1 condition: Side 1 plays through very well with no jumps or sticks. There is a little background noise throughout but the production quality is strikingly clear. 9/ 10.
The surface has an excellent shine with no surface rubs and very few light hairlines. There are no moderate marks or heavy scratches. 8/10.
The label on side 1 is excellent with very little wear or fading to the text or background. The print is fantastic. There is only light evidence of spider trails or light wear around the centre hole. 9/10
Side 2 condition:
Side 2 plays through equally well with some evidence of light background noise but the production sounds awesome. There are absolutely no sticks, no loud pops and no jumps only light background noise throughout. 9 / 10
The surface of the record on side 2 is excellent with no rubs but with a few light hairlines. The surface is very nice, it does not have any moderate or heavy scratches to the surface. 8/10.
The label on side 2 is also excellent with no little fading to the text but does have a little area of light wear at the top, otherwise, there is light wear throughout. There is also very little evidence of light wear around the center hole. 8/10
The RCA paper sleeve is in very good condition with no splits and no tears on either side. There is some light creasing on the front and rear and there is very little discolouration. 8/10
