The listing I found had the year as "unknown" but referenced that is was reissue of a 1972 pressing so presumably would be around that year.
Beautiful clean copy of this classic Bowie album, great collectors piece and sounds wonderful. The title track is worth the price of admission alone.
Quite rare with the RCA black labels and pristine poster included.
I have bought these from a private collector who cherishes his records and when I play them back it's such a nice feeling to hear that clean crisp perfect sound. So much so a couple of them have found there way to my shelf.
All of my records are play tested on a Project Debut Carbon with 2M Red stylus which is quite revealing so any sound defects may be more exaggerated than on other more mainstream players. Or conversely if you are a full on audiophile I will let you judge how your set up compares and how you envisage the sound will compare.
I don't currently have access to a cleaning machine so please forgive any dust or finger marks which are on any of my records - hopefully will be investing in one at some point.
Record Appearance - NM With Mint being reserved for sealed records this is in perfect condition no scratches or marks even under a bright light with perfect glossy finish. Record sits tight on the spindle indicating very little play. Labels are perfect with just light spindle marks under bright light.
Record Audio - NM Sounds as good as it looks, no surface noise bar some dust as i don't like to hand clean records I am selling. Title track is beautiful and clear and sounds great when the bass kicks in. Great record you wont be disappointed. If you check out some of my other listings (not Bowie as they are all mint) you will see I am very honest about defects on my records so please believe me when I say these Bowie's are superb.
Record Sleeve - NM/VG+ Very close to near mint barely any shelf wear just a small scuff on the bottom corner. No ring wear and great sharp and bright front photo, very nice. Inner sleeve is plain white paper and is in good condition. Includes poster of the front cover and in as new condition which is a rare find.
