Description

David Bowie Starman/Suffragette city. RCA 2199 Sleeve condition - Grading this as VG+. It has a small 1/4 inch tear at top on front and another on the back that is about 1/2 inch. Bottom of sleeve has a small slit about an inch long obviously where record has been put back. It has a small green sticker on the front top right and a biro '72' written in the bottom left. Also has a crease on back bottom left, again where the record has been stored. Other than that it's a nice sleeve and has survived well. Record grading - again will grade this as VG+. Some surface marks that do not affect play. A couple of tiny edge nicks that again, do not affect play. The Starman side has a small green sticker on the label and does have a small crackle at the start of play. I gently cleaned it with some record cleaner and soft cloth and it was instantly better on next play. I think a run through a good record cleaning machine will take away the crackle completely. Other than that both sides play nice and bright and loud and the vinyl, although not perfect does retain its gloss. I will send P/S in a poly sleeve and record in new paper sleeve as this will keep P/S nice and flat.
