David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World
US Mercury bootleg press. A counterfeit of the original from 1970.
Not dated but it is fair to say it is post 1972. There is said to be many more bootlegs than originals of this LP as so few copies sold on release.
This is a very faithful reproduction bar one or two minor details changed. The one major reason is the matrix is hand-scratched (as shown on the picture) rather than a stamped matrix on the original. Also, the artwork is slightly orientated and there's a two second edit on "All The Madmen"
"All The Mad Men" appears on the label and "All The Madmen" without the space, appears on the reverse of the sleeve...just as one final point.
