Description
David Bowie - The Man Who Sold The World. This is the OFFICIAL 1970 1st U.S. pressing on Mercury Records SR-61325. Counterfeit copies are common, but true authentic pressings are much less common. (The vast majority offered for sale are counterfeits). This one is authentic as evidenced by the dialogue bubble's placement on the back cover and the STAMPED matrixes. The cover has shelf wear, barely visible initials, and a punch hole. At first glance the vinyl appears unplayed, but upon close inspection, there are two very small, feelable marks on A2 and A3. There are a light pops on A2 for about three rotations. Overall, the record is shiny with full gloss and and clean labels. It sounds great with really nice fidelity (deep bass)!
Matrix: Side 1 - Stamped SR - 61325-A-M2; Side 2 - Stamped SR 61325-B-M1
Vinyl: VG+ (a small mark on A2; and longer light mark on A3/A4; full gloss)
Cover: VG (shelf wear; punch hole)
Other: audiophile replacement inner sleeve
