Description

Last year, my uncle passed away, and the job has fallen to me to deal through his large collection of memorabilia.  He was born in 1961, and his estate was packed full of vintage 1960's and 70's treasures.  Several vintage LP's are listed this week.

This is a rare one.  This is the Mercury version of David Bowie's THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD, with a bizarre pop-art cover.  It still has the original shrink-wrap with the AS SEEN ON TV sticker on it.  The sleeve is in great condition, but there appears to be some minor water damage below the shrink-wrap at the bottom of the cover (see photo) and the vinyl looks SUPER clean; I'd believe it's never been played.  The water damage I've mentioned is very superficial.  It doesn't distort or wrinkle the cardboard in any way.  It's most evident on the white inner sleeve actually, but this sleeve is generic and can be replaced by the buyer.  I've done my best to supply photos, to give you the best examples of the album's condition. The RCA version of this album is up this week as well.
