David Bowie • The Man Who Sold the World (Mercury ?– SR-61325) US, c. 1973-1975.

Counterfeit / bootleg pressing of the original US pressing released in 1970 with cartoon sleeve.

Not dated but it is fair to speculate pressed sometime post-1972 when Bowie was becoming more well known.

The bootleg is a very faithful reproduction of the original and appears almost exactly identical except for the matrix is hand-scratched, NOT machine stamped. Apart from this the music is of a professional sounding quality and artwork appears identical.

Play Graded Very Good to Very Good Plus (VG to VG+) There is some minor surface noise in between songs and in quiet passages. The vinyl is shiny and bright. Cover is Very Good Plus (VG+) Does not include original inner sleeve.
