David Bowie - The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars - LSP-4702 - orange dynaflex label with original inner sleeve - record is VG+ - cover is VG
All records have been checked under a bright light to insure an accurate grading.
M (mint) This grade is for sealed records, usually the cover grades EX or lower.
NM (near mint) This grade is for records that do not have any real wear, it will play like a new record.
Covers almost never grade near mint due to storage and handling wear. Even when sealed they are almost never near mint.
EX (excellent) This grade is for records that may have a shallow scuff or scratch, the record
should sound near mint when the music is playing.
It will probably have a tiny amount of noise in the silent passages but nothing more than very light static
there will be no loud pops or clicks that distract from the music. A very nice collectible conditioned record.
The cover may have a little shelf wear but nothing that really stands out. No split seams.
VG++ (very good plus plus) This grade is for records that are not quite excellent, some may grade these records as excellent but I do not. Same for the cover, it will only have minor imperfections.
VG+ (very good plus) This grade is for records that have a significant amount of shallow scratches or scuffs.
There may be noticeable static noise throughout the playing if the music is low volume. There will not be any gouges in the record, there will not be any skips, if there are any loud pops/clicks it will only be a couple. The cover may have some stains, split seams, bent or cut corners, deletion markings, and writing.
VG (very good) This grade is for records that have seen better days, lots of shallow scratches meaning there will be lots of static.
The majority will play through just fine and possibly sound better than it looks.
The cover will be pretty beat up but not worth throwing away. Expect ring wear, staining, and seem splits.
