Superb and rare original Japanese 1st pressing of David Bowie’s Rise And Fall Ziggy Stardust Of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars LP
Original pressing released in Japan on 25th October 1972. Superb quality and sounding pressing. Sonically I prefer this to the 1st UK press. Sounds really good and was mastered from the original masters by Victor Musical Industries of Japan (according to the sleeve/labels)
Translucent brown vinyl. Comes with original lyric insert. No Obi.
Matrix numbers:
Side 1: RCA 6050A HQ 152 ⁜ RD
Side 2: RCA 6050B HQ 111 ⁜⁜
The vinyl is in great condition. It has a couple of tiny sleeve removal marks under very strong light only on side 2. Plays perfectly throughout with no background noise or distortion of any kind. Really superb playing copy. EX+
The sleeve is EX+ with the very slightest edge wear at most. Crisp and clean. Title in Japanese on the spine edge. EX+
Insert is EX to EX+ with a few small foxing marks on one corner. No other issues.
Original sleeve inner is VG as is split along the bottom edge but has no other issues and it comes with a replacement poly inner.
No Obi.
