Up for bids is David Bowie With The Lower Third Can't Help Thinking About Me/And I Say To Myself 45 RPM Record, Warner Bros. Records, 5815, 1966 Promo. Record appears to be in very good to excellent condition. I am not by any means a professional record grader but this record appears to be very nice, it still has a fair amount of luster and doesn't appear to have any scratches or heavy smudges. I played this record and it played very well with virtually no noise of any kind other than the music. According to what I've read on the internet this is David Bowie's first recording using his stage name of David Bowie. Prior to this recording all his releases were under his real name of Davy or Davie Jones. This recording was released in the U.K. on the Pye label in February of 1966 and was released in the U. S. on the Warner Bros. label in May of 1966 and was the first David Bowie recording ever released in the U. S. This record is the Promo version of the Warner Bros. release. It will be mailed in the original Warner Bros. sleeve as shown in the photos. U. S. sales only, please. I do not mail outside the U. S. Pay Pal preferred.
