David Bowie was an English singer, songwriter, and actor, popular as a music figure for over five decades, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust" was launched as a hugely popular show, catapulting Bowie into stardom as he toured the UK over the next six months and creating a 'Cult of Bowie'. His hair was dyed reddish-brown, and he dressed in a striking costume, becoming the best-selling act of 1973 in the UK. RCA Victor black label, #AYL1-3843, STEREO LP.
