Description
Original 1st UK pressing of the classic David Bowie LP “The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars”.
Earliest matrix numbers with 1E/1E endings, no Mainman credit on labels or sleeve.
Matrix numbers:
Side 1: BGBS 0864 - 1E A5C
Side 2: BGBS 0865 - 1E B1AT
Vinyl condition:
Vinyl visually grades VG+ with lots of light non feelable scuffs and hairlines when viewed under strong light. No feelable marks.
The record has been fully play graded and plays a EX- overall. It has a little light background crackle in some of the spaces between tracks but this is minimal and cannot be heard over the music. First 30 seconds of Rock N Roll suicide has a very low volume soft repetitive click but doesn’t greatly impact on the overall enjoyment or sound. No sticks, jumps, pops or noticeable distortion. Decent playing copy.
Sleeve condition:
The sleeve grades as VG+ with light general storage/handling wear. Nothing major but doesn’t look brand new.
The original printed inner is missing but I will include a brand new poly lined inner.
Overall this is a very decent sounding/original 1st pressing.
