up for auction today is a 2017 Record Store Day issued 1971 one-sided promo LP boxset by the influential Progressive/Classic Rocker David Bowie titled 'BOWPROMO'. David Bowie, like the Beatles needs no introduction, having gone through several phases, and getting major hits through some of them, he is held in high regard by most serious Rock fans. this is a limited edition RSD piece - a repro of the 500 copies only promo disc made by Mainman management (Tony DeFries) to promote both Bowie and Dana Gillespie to record companies. each artist had one side, Bowie's being alternate mixes of what would end up as 'Hunky Dory' tracks. this edition is one sided - forget Dana, 'limited edition' of 15000, and is a 'needle drop' of the original vinyl. all in a box with goodies. a very cool buy for Bowie collectors. Parlophone DBRSD 6973 in Hard Cardboard box, LP in white printed cover, hype sticker and 5 Bowie prints in a nice envelope. not rated in Allmusic.com.

hello! for my latest round of Ebay Auctions, I will be selling some of my collection of Vinyl Album/10"/45rpm 'Extras'. These will mainly consist of discs I am willing clear out, some after owning for Decades. this is no indication of lack of quality of the music. I have quite a bit of this material to sell, in a wide variety of genres. NOTE - shipping costs will be higher for Vinyl pieces. To ensure safety in shipping, I bought new vinyl shipping boxes, cardboard inserts & paper inner sleeves.
1 - All opened pieces will be shipped with vinyl separate from cover & inner sleeve (if printed), in a white paper Inner sleeve, and protective clear outer sleeve (as long as I have them) 2 - I will also be placing handmade corner protection pieces in the box. 3 - If you are an experienced buyer, you probably have a habit of cleaning any new record you buy. but this is a reminder, especially on the older pieces. 4 - pay attention to the condition description part of listing: that is where I will state any splits, Cover wear and defects in vinyl.
All pieces are complete, unless stated. NOTE I am a private collector selling off his music, I am NOT a dealer. I have sold via ebay in the past, and have restarted after retiring in December 2020. My feedback rating is accurate: I am an efficient and reliable seller.
