Two days after the release of the album, David Bowie, on 3 June 1967, Bowie re-recorded "Love You till Tuesday" for release as a single. Boasting a new vocal and a string arrangement Deram issued the single version on 14 July 1967, backed by the newly-recorded "Did You Have a Dream?", with the catalogue number DM135. It was a flop despite earning Bowie his best critical reviews up to that point. After its release, Bowie recorded other tracks for release as singles, all of which were rejected by the label, leading to his departure in May 1968. As a result, "Love You till Tuesday" was Bowie's last release for Deram.

The original company paper sleeve is undamaged but does show age related discolouration, handling and storage wear. Edge wear is apparent but there are NO tears or splits. Graded as VG.

The vinyl without doubt conservatively grades as VG.  

Side A - It has clearly been played. The four prong Deram labels show their age. The name 'D Thompson' has been written in the push out but it is really only the letters 'D T' that can be seen clearly.  There are the remnants of a sticker and evidence of sticker removal over 'The Decca Record Co. Ltd.' although the latter is just about readable even though some of the printed surface has been torn away. The playing surface has no obvious deep- scratches that can be felt. There are numerous scuff and hairline marks together with a couple of skate marks. There are spindle marks but these are not obvious. On play grading there was some static or crackle on the run in and run out but nothing really substantial or out of the ordinary for a record in this condition. There was an odd light pop or click and some distortion during the track but certainly nothing which spoils the enjoyment of the record when listening at volume. It plays well with reasonably strong audio and only a little loss of sound quality. The surface retains a little shine.

Side B - Once again it has clearly been played. The four prong Deram labels show their age and, once again the letters 'D T' have been written in the push out. There is some other writing to the left and below 'DERAM' which might spell 'Psych' but this is unclear and virtually unreadable. The playing surface has no obvious deep scratches that can be felt. There are numerous hairline marks together with skate marks. There are spindle marks but these are not obvious. The whole surface has the appearance of having been played on an auto-change record player in past years and shows spiral scuffing. On play grading there was some static or crackle on the run in and run out, more than on Side A, but, again, nothing really substantial or out of the ordinary for a record of this age and in this condition. There was an odd light pop or click and some distortion during the track but certainly nothing which spoils the enjoyment of the record when listening at volume. It plays well with reasonably strong audio and only a little loss of sound quality. The surface retains a little shine.
