Description
This is one of the legendary rare collectable records. When it was issued 36 years ago by Mercury in England it was considered shocking for a man to wear a dress on an album cover, and the record execs withdrew the dress cover in favor of a blander, less "offensive" one.
Since then Bowie collectors and record collectors in general have sought this prize with little success - it is, unlike some legendary collectables, a truly rare, desirable, and extremely hard to find record.
Seams and spine are intact - no splits, but show signs of wear. The word, Mercury, on the spine is hard to read, and the other letters are readable but worn.
