Description

Here is your opportunity to own The Man Who Sold the World album from David Bowie.  This was the third studio album from David Bowie.  Many fans and critics believe this album is the first album to really capture Bowie's music style.  His first two albums had more of a folk and psychedelic vibe.  This is album is David Bowie's full on rock album.  If you have never heard this album, you owe to yourself to hear it on vinyl.  This LP is a Rare Unofficial Pressing on the Mercury label from 1973.  The LP cover has all of the indications of a first pressing and does not contain any delete/cut out holes.  The biggest difference is that the runoff matrices in the deadwax are etched instead of being stamped.  This is actually the only cover I have ever seen without a delete hole.  This LP is rumored to be a pirate or counterfeit, but the sound is brilliant.  It is quite difficult to tell the difference between this pressing and a first original pressing.  This particular LP has 61325 - A as the matrix number in the dead wax, on side one.  Side two of the LP has 61325 - B etched on the dead wax.  The vinyl visually is in Near Mint/Excellent Condition. The LP has a couple of very light hairline scratches on each side.  These very minuscule blemishes do not affect the playback.  This album plays at a Near Mint Condition.  The LP labels are very clean.  The LP cover is in Near Mint/Excellent condition.  It has some extremely faint ring wear on both sides.  The corners are all very sharp with little to no rounding.  All of the seams are outstanding and very tight.  The spine is brilliant and 100% legible.  The back of the cover has a small amount of bubbling and rippling.  The pictures I have taken should show this.  This album has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 16.5 and will be shipped in a brand new white inner sleeve.  This album is ready for playing or storage.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  I do not ship outside of the United States.  I can combine shipping for multiple auction wins.  Please bid with confidence.
