This is an extremely “hard to find†and rare songbook and a collector’s item and in "near perfect condition…This book is beautifully laid out and contains many color photographs - Not only does it contain songs from Crosby Stills Nash & Young, but from The Byrds and David’s solo album as well !

From the early ‘70’s thru the late 80’s, the music publisher Warner Bros. Music, headed by Ed Silvers and the “Warner Raidersâ€, re-developed and revolutionized the printed music industry by creating a series of “Artist – Personality†songbooks and folios that not only contained the sheet music of the artist’s songs, but, a collection of unique photos and sometimes biographical materials. This all ended when the Warner Bros. Music’s executive management was changed in favor “non creative types†and other régimes who were far more interested in the “bottom line†and profits, than the music itself! Soon after this change the excitement of and interest in the printed music industry ceased to exist and the industry nearly “diedâ€, and these great books disappeared. Since then many printed music companies have attempted to “rediscover†this style of book, but rarely with the same “quality†or attention to detail. These books are a tribute to a time when “the music came first†as well as a tribute to the individual who made up the “Warner Raidersâ€, whose influence to the music publishing industry has long been felt and cannot be denied.
