Rare 1977 Nonesuch Records USA issue, one of a series of David Lewiston albums released as part of the Nonesuch ‘Explorer’ series. David Lewiston, a musician and journalist, was born in London in 1929 and became a collector of traditional world music. This album was recorded in the remote region of Western or Indian Tibet by David Lewiston in the city of Leh. Rear jacket includes detailed liner notes by Lewiston, including song details, musicians, and also lyrics - translated by Tashi Rabgyas. Housed in original jacket in Excellent condition. Vinyl LP is in Excellent condition – H-72075

The record shows signs of having been played but there is negligible loss in sound quality. The sleeve may have slight wear or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG)
The record has been played many times but shows no significant deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks. Sleeve has normal wear and tear without any major defects.
GOOD (G)
The record has been played enough that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably and may have pops and skips. The sleeve may suffer from scuffs, spine splits, ring wear and/or discolouration.
CONDITION: This item is in excellent or mint condition unless stated above.
