david lynch releases his first full-length, entitled 'crazy clown time'. lynch, who cites elvis, au revoir simone and sparklehorse as influences, has been experimenting with music for years, co-composing and even singing on pieces in his more recent films, such as 'inland empire'. he made his electronic debut less than a year ago with 'good day today', a melodic single on sunday best, rob da bank's label, who also releases the new album. as with that release, 'crazy clown time' shows the 65-year-old artist using all digital equipment and teaming up studio engineer dean hurley. it features a guest appearance from karen o of the yeah yeah yeahs, who sings on the opening track 'pinky's dream.'
