Description
David Shel Shapiro "Affittasi" LP
Original and rare Italian vinyl pressing of debut solo album from David "Shel" Shapiro, former member of the British Invasion group The Rokes and one-time guitarist for the legendary Gene Vincent. Released in 1972 on Polydor Records, catalog number 2448 006 L. Red Polydor labels with black and white text. Arranged and conducted by Italian-American composer Bill Conti.
Record is in Very Good Plus (VG+) condition with only very minimal superficial marks (very tiny scratches or sleeve burn) in very few spots. Plays through without issue.
Outer sleeve (jacket) is in Very Good Plus (VG+) condition with minimal wear expected from a 42-year-old LP. The sleeve is a unique bi-gatefold design, where the sleeve's left and right edges extend and fold over to the back cover like doors (though the middle portion of the rear remains exposed). The record is accessible through either flap. The most noticeable wear is in the lamination of the exterior portion of the sleeve; there are some horizontal lines where the lamination has bubbled and creased. The left-side gatefold (when looking at the back cover) has some vertical creasing that extends most of the height of the sleeve. In a few spots, the lamination has begun to peel back (albeit minimally) from the edges or corners.
Inner LP sleeve features a photo of the artist and white-text lyrics printed on black paper. No tears, creases or stains.
