The De Castro Sisters – Teach Me Tonight, 1954 7” London HL 8104. SOLID CENTRE.
This is a nice example of Teach Me Tonight / It’s Love by The De Castro Sisters. It was released on the London label in 1954 – HL 8104 – and is in close to EX condition. I have no idea how or why – but for some reason this record was taken out of the production process without being finished. It ought to have a tri-centre but this has not been stamped out and it is perfectly solid. Also – it looks (and IS) slightly bigger than it ought to be. Around 4mm-5mm extra in diameter. This is because the rim has not been finished either. It is noticeably sharp and it would be easy to cut yourself on it if you were to run your finger along it. Other than that – it is a regular UK 1954 London pressing. The gold print is perfectly bright on each label. The record will be supplied in a plain paper cover.
