A gem of a recording here. I had never heard the Opera (Puppet Show!) before and loved it, and it gets a taught, energetic performance from Simon Rattle in what I imagine was one of his earliest recordings. Side 2 has the beautiful miniature Psyche and the neo-classical Harpsichord Concerto. 
LP is in EX+/NM condition. The vinyl is clean and shiny. I think I heard one, maybe two pops/ticks, and there is no surface noise. The sound is clear and present. The cover is in EX condition. It is very clean apart from some marks at the top of the front cover (see photo) and the remnants of a price tag on the right hand side of the front which I think could be removed quite easily. On the back there is an Italian import sticker. The insert is in EX+ condition. There appear to be a few red wine stains on the inner sleeve!! But apart from that it is in EX condition!
This LP comes from a large record collection that I am selling on behalf of a retired Music Professor. There are a lot more to come when I have time to listen and check them. Please look at my other listings and contact me if you have any questions.
