I'm back with a nice auction of 50's blues & doo-wop 45s with a few really cool 60's soul records mixed in. There are several small labels represented here as well as some promos and several real rarities as well as early singles by more popular groups.

Release: Tommy Navarro - I Cried My Life Away / Club of Broken Hearts

Format: 45 rpm 7" vinyl record

Year: 1964

Notes: Light blue label first pressing with all-red text. Has Bell Sound stamp in dead wax. The only record by Navarro, this is a wonderful latin-tinged soul track that should have been a huge hit, but only achieved minor regional notoriety in/around New York. It has since been re-discovered by the Northern Soul scene and has been rightly acknowledged as a classic.

Record Condition: VG+, The record itself is in nice shape & plays very well, appears NM at first glance. Close examination shows that each side has a couple of very light surface scuffs, nthing that affect play and nothing more than 1/2" long. Very clean with good original gloss. Plays great with excellent sound. No pops or ticks, no background noise. Labels are also very clean with no writing/tears, but do have some very light scuffing at the raised edge. Overall, this is a tough to find record in really good condition overall.

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in an oversize box for maximum protection.
