The plot, concerned with corrupt world powers vying for possession of a strange device which can control men's minds, obviously deeply inspired Maestro de Masi and compelled him to write one of his finest soundtracks. THE BIG GAME is an exciting work full-to-bursting with many rich, satisfying themes and surprising variety of moods and styles, a treasure for any solid soundtrack collector.
Super moody and terrific music swinging from Jazz and Soul Jazz orchestrations to heat Psychedelic and Fuzz guitar distorsions, deeply tense and dramatic Thriller vein allover. Finest Jazzy drums and some nice Jazz-Funk vibes too, killer!

"THE BIG GAME" main theme of the record is groovy enchanting Score, then "RUNNING AGAINST THE TIME" featured in PIOMBO ROVENTE 2000 compilation along with other 5 tracks here, is crazy stoned Uptempo Jazz Psychedelic Action/Thriller pursuit theme, insane drums and percussions accompaniment. "THE BLUE BOAT" is another noted shot, with its nice Psychedelic Jazz-Funk groovy & spooky Poliziesco style, amazing. "TOMORROW IS A FOREIGN LAND" and "TIME ON MY HANDS" are the two sung tracks by obscure female singer. On the other side, the 2nd BIG GAME version is Fuzzy beating top of the game: super Moody sample starting with a crazy Psychedelic theme to leave the way to the orchestral Easy Listening theme previously featured on the first side, insane! "CAPE TOWN HARBOUR" gives fantastic, infectious Giallo Jazz vibes and Samba percussions unique sound. "DEATH MUST WAIT" super spooky Psychedelic Giallo/Thrilling theme jam. Very Rare and hard to find OST!
