Description

Vocalion Records (5180) 1928 pre-war country blues harmonica 78 rpm single release from DeFORD BAILEY.  Tracks are: DIXIE FLYER BLUES / PAN AMERICAN BLUES.

Historically significant recording and artist.

TJM Grade - V Condition. Disc plays through with some constant background noise but still has a lot of fidelity.  Some loss of luster but appears to have been well cared for lacking the expected scratches and scuffs for a century old recording.  Sound clip video is taken from the offered 78 (Audio Technica AT-VM95SP 78 cartridge tracked at four grams on an Audio Technica AT-LP 140XP turntable).

The 78 is in a replacement Disc-O-File sleeve.   Packing includes sandwiching the 78 with corrugated cardboard pads then cushion with packing materials that ship in a 13x13x4 box.
