Description

This is part of a big auction of Vee-Jay and DeLuxe 45's I'm running this week. Mostly There are lots of rarities and few surprise items here.  Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Sun Records auction starting 6/26 and King/Federal auction in late July.

Release: The Four Speeds - The Girls Back Home


Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1954


Notes: Kind of a mash-up of doo-wop and rhythm and blue, unusual stuff here.  White label Promo with bio - tough to find record in original sleeve.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl looks great with almost no wear at all in the play area. Both sides play really well, no discernable background noise at all. Labels are generally clean, but does have a "DR. JIVE" sticker on side.  I don't know if this is related to influential DJ Tommy Smalls.  Original sleeve included which has some wrinkles, a small pencil number in the corner, about 1/2 split on the left side. Even with that wear it's, not too bad. See pics for exact details, but this is a real nice copy overall.
