You are bidding on a original US pressing copy of the Dead Boys - Night of the Living Dead Boys LP released by Bomp Records in 1981.  This is BLP 4017. In the dead wax on side A it is inscribed BLP-4017A S-8567 and on side B BLP-4017B S-8568. This record came out of the collection of a central Texas music fan, known to many musicians/fellow music lovers, who tragically lost his life late last year. He frequently attended concerts and shows here in central Texas and elsewhere. He enjoyed meeting musicians and liked to get their autographs, such as this record.  It has been signed by  Stiv Bators!  His  signature can be found on the front of the jacket (see picture). His signature is signed in silver marker. By his signature Stiv wrote "Scratch 'n' Sniff" with an arrow pointing to his armpit!  The record is in VG+ condition. The record labels are in VG+ condition. The record jacket is in VG condition with some shelfwear, ringwear,  and edgewear. There are a few creases (most  of which are an  inch or less) along the spine of the jacket, as well  a few more along the bottom seam. This copy has the original insert with photos on the back, which is in VG- condition and has been heavily creased. We visually grade all our records for sale and grade both the record and the jacket. We go by general standards for grading, which are:

Mint (M) - an unplayed, new copy of a record. no visual defects!

Near Mint (NM) - a nearly perfect record that has usually only been played 1-3 times, in "like new" condition.

Very Good + (VG+) - record still in excellent condition but has minor signs of wear such as surface scuffs/light scratches that don't affect the play. jacket has minor signs of wear such as light ringwear, edgewear, shelfwear, and/or light creasing.

Very Good (VG) - record has more wear than VG+ and may have some slight surface noise, light pops, some scuffs or scratches.  generally still a great playing copy.  jacket may have more wear, writing, sticker residue, punch out/cut out holes or corners.

Very Good - (VG-) - record has noticeable groove wear, surface noise, scratches, and/or scuffs but still a decent playing copy. jacket has heavier wear and may have a small split seam.

Good + and Good (G+ and G) - record still plays without skipping but has considerable amounts of groove wear, surface noise, scuffs, and/or scratches.  jacket has alot of wear and some defects such as split seams, heavy creasing, writing, marks, sticker residue, etc...
