Dead Can Dance ORIG UK LP Spleen and ideal VG+ ’84 4AD CAD512 Alt Rock Dream Pop


Original UK LP released in 1985 on 4AD Records. Cat: CAD 512. Comes with printed inner bag which is in VG+ condition.
With this amazing album, Dead Can Dance fully took the plunge into the heady mix of musical traditions that would come to define its sound and style for the remainder of its career. The straightforward goth affectations are exchanged for a sonic palette and range of imagination. Calling it "haunting" and "atmospheric" barely scratches even the initial surface of the album's power.

 Tracks : De profundis (Out of the depths of sorrow)/ Ascension/ Circus radiant dawn/ The cardinal sin/ Mesmerism/ Enigma of the absolute/ Advent/ Avatar/ Indoctrination (a design for living).

  There are a few light spindle marks and age spots on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and light scratches that cause some light crackles in parts and is in VG++ condition. Cover has a tiny sticker on back bottom edge and some light marks and is in Excellent condition.


Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
