Description

Dead Can Dance– 'Serpent Egg' 1988 LP. I bought this LP on first release – so good I bought a second backup copy, hence this sale. 'The Host Of Seraphim' has to be one of the finest musical pieces ever recorded. Lisa Gerrard at her very best/. The whole album is poetry in sound and superbly mastered.
This is NOT an inferior reissue/remaster/repress. It's a beautiful original copy that's hard to find in such good condition. 
  Exceptional audiophile sound quality – this original 1988 1st pressing has a stunning soundstage and presents pinpoint imaging, with no compression, no inner groove distortion, no harshness, a quiet background too. This disc has only ever been played on a very high quality playback system – Gyrodec, Origin Live arm, Kontrapunkt B/Koetsu Black Goldline MC cartridges. This record has been handled with care throughout its long life.
