Dead Kennedys-Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables 1981 Orange Orig US Pressing, IRS SP 70014 • This is a classic punk album and it is in great condition. Outer jacket shows little ring wear and vinyl appears near flawless. • Fold-out lyric sheet collage poster is included. It is in fantastic condition. This is the first U.S.A. pressing of the album, following the first UK pressing. It is the only orange-jacket pressing since the DKs did not like the color and went to black to all other pressings. • • This original back cover features a found photograph of an old lounge band called The Sounds Of Sunshine, with the DK's logo pasted onto the drum kit and skulls and crossbones spliced onto their instruments. The original photograph, as found by Biafra at a garage sale, had no identifying remarks on it whatsoever, and was used because the band thought it was "hilarious". Somehow Warner Wilder, the former vocalist of the defunct lounge band learned of the photo and threatened to sue the Dead Kennedys.
