Description
For sale today is a very cool and unique one of a kind record and center. This is a tricolor for the Dead Weather single "I Cut Like A Buffalo". This was the first time Third Man Records issued a record on their famous three color scheme and was only available as a giveaway / promotion item. What is unique about this particular record, as you can see from the picture, is that it just the outer part of the record! The center has been punched out because the label was applied off centered and it is a reject. Generally when a record is rejected and the center is punched out, the outer part is recycled but in this case the outer part was kept. The record plays just like any other 7" record save for the fact that part of the runout groove was punched out so if you don't pick the needle up right after the song ends, your needle will fall into the center of the large hole. Also included in this auction is a punched center from a different rejected I Cut Like A Buffalo tricolor record. These are not a matching set, but you do have one of each - the outer ring and the center of a rejected record. Great unique items to add to your Third Man Records collection!
