The single also reached #1 in Ireland, Germany, Canada and Switzerland, #2 in Italy, peaked at #3 in Australia and Belgium and #4 in The Netherlands. A truly worldwide hit! You Spin Me Round...' has charted highly twice since the single's original 1984 release. In 2003, an officially endorsed remix as part of the "Evolution" 'hits collection' release, reached #23, whilst the original version reached #5 in 2006, when re-released following Pete Burns' memorable appearance on "Celebrity Big Brother".
