Description
Original vinyl pressing of 13 Most Beautiful: Songs for Andy Warhol's Screen Tests by Dean & Britta. Released as a three-sided double album (4th side is blank) in 2017 in a limited edition of 500. This copy is identified on the back cover as #281. Includes a two-sided insert explaining the project and each of the songs. Dean & Britta of the band Luna recorded this mesmerizing music to set the mood for the series of silent "screen tests" Warhol made at the legendary Factory in the mid-60s of actor Dennis Hopper, musicians Lou Reed and Nico, along with various "Warhol superstars" including Edie Sedgwick, Paul America, Ann Buchanan, Freddy Herko, Mary Woronov, and Baby Jane Holzer. The two vinyl records are each housed in solid black paper inner sleeves and except for a stray mark or two, are in Excellent condition without any playing issues.
