Description
For sale is a vinyl album by Dean Martin titled "Hey, Bother, Pour The Wine", originally released in 1964 by Capitol Records. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is machine stamped "IAM" inside a triangle, which stands for International Association of Machinists' Union, who work in the Capitol Records' pressing plant, followed by the matrix numbers J-2/P-1, indicating that later stampers were used to press this album at Capitol Records' pressing plant located in Scranton, Pennsylvania. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. I bought this record used and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is graded as Good Plus because one whole side of the sleeve has split and separated. The cover is graded as Excellent because of one corner blunt that has begun a seam spliy, with fraying, on the bottom right hand corner. The spine has a corner with a bit of color loss. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint with superficial sleeve marks and scuffs. Otherwise, the surfaces are still shiny and bright in a like new condition without any spindle marks on the labels. I'm play grading this record as Near Mint Minus because of one pop on Side One and 5 seconds of low level ticking on "Love Me! Love Me!". It plays all the way through without any further surface noise or skips. This is still one of the best copies of this album that I have ever seen or heard and you would be hard-pressed to find one in this condition, especially a Scranton first pressing. This would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I have a lot more Pop records as well as albums of all different genres listed in my Ebay store. Please take a look.
