Decca SXL 2136 StereoWide Band Grooved - Debussy

The record is in excellent condition. Under strong light there are a few surfacescuffs but these are faint marks from storage or sleeve removal. Certainly they are not feelable marks, justfaintly on the surface. I have played anarea just to check and found no issues. There are hardly any spindle marks, sothis LP has been rarely played.
The sleeve has not fared quite as well and is VG. It is one of those very thin Decca sleeves,and the imprint of the record is faintly raised, although not really dirty. Thesleeve is also predominantly white and this has faded slightly. There is a little lamination lift on twocorners on the front and the back is slightly grubby, with a small, lightliquid stain at the top. The bottomscolloped flipback is creased and there has a small tear although, as it isstill stuck down, this is not a problem. There is no loss of this flipback.
I have a collection of 250+ classical LPs that I will beputting up on ebay over the next weeks. There are many rare items. ManySXL - ASD - SAX - RCA Living Stereo andother recordings, mostly original pressings. There are many sought after artists and conductors; Ida Haendel - Ruggiero Ricci - Campoli – Milstein- Furtwangler - Argenta - Kogan and others.
There is no way I can listen to all of these LPs. I will describe the records as exactly as Ican and, in the case where I can see anything I would consider to be an issuewith the vinyl, ie something that is very noticeable, I will play at least theaffected part of that item and report the results. In describing them I will grade them as carefully,visually, as I can. If there are anyissues I have missed they will be very small, as I will be looking at themcarefully in bright light. I do not guarantee they will be completelyfree of the occasional pop or click. However,I would expect that a good clean would improve the playback if there are any. Please bear in mind that these early Stereopressings are 50 to 55 years old and will have accumulated some dust and dirt,however carefully they were kept. Alsoplease bear the above in mind when bidding, as I will not refund for tinyissues, unless I have classed the record as M- (I will never use Mint for records of this age, even if I can see nosigns of play.) Basically, I will tryto describe them as carefully as if you were looking at them in a shop.
These records will be posted signed for minimum. For those with a value above the signed forminimum, £50 I believe, postage will include the fully insured value of therecord.
