Description

You are bidding on the album, “Images Pour Orchestre—Gigues, Iberia, Rondes de Printemps,” composed by Claude Debussy and performed by L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande conducted by Ataulfo Argenta. The album was released on the London label (CS.6013) in 1958. This is a stereo pressing on the red and silver wide band “ffss”, deep groove label. The stampers are ZAL-3630-2E/ZAL-3630-2K. The cover has the blue back. Using visual grading, the album is in EXCELLENT condition. It has its original sheen and, at first glance, looks new. But upon close inspection under a bright light, one can detect a few wispy contact marks but no scratches. I played both sides of the record from beginning to end, and while there is light surface noise, it is not obtrusive. I suggest a thorough cleaning using a disk-washing machine. The cover is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. There is a 1.5-inch seam split in the upper right corner that has been professionally repaired from the inside without tape. There also is a small tear on the back where a price sticker was removed, with no loss of the printed text.
