Description

Debussy - La Mer and Nocturnes
Carlo Maria Gilling conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra
Columbia SAX 2463. 1962
1st stereo pressing on white/gold labels

I have listened carefully to the whole record and there are no jumps or sticks.

Lp is Vg - plays on the whole EXCELLENT, apart from a couple of small scratches, one at about 5 minutes in (lasts 12 clicks soft to medium to soft) and one at about 6/7 minutes in (lasts 6 clicks soft to medium to soft) at the start of side 1. side 2 has a little surface noise (the very occasional odd light click here and there) but is otherwise ex.

The record has been professionally cleaned

The front cover is ex, the back has ex-library* marks and some handwriting. original slightly worn polythene lined inner sleeve is included as well as a new replacement.

*This record came from Southampton university's music department and I know as an ex student that records were never removed from the library - you had to sit there and listen on some very nice turntables, so aside from the two small scratches, this record has been looked after.
