Description

This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, from several different labels - a real mix this time with a nice selection of unusual small label stuff. There are a handful of Aladdin and King, but there are also some one offs from Ivy, Home of the Blues and more.

Notes: This is a fun bonus item for this round of auctions. It's the first version of the soundtrack to The Wizard of Oz on 7". This was released as a 4x7" box set with new art that was exclusive to this release and it's 10" 78rpm partner. There are either total tracks and the sound on these are fantastic. If you are fan of the movie or soundtracks in general it's just a fantastic piece to have in your collection.


Vinyl Condition: VG/VG+, Vinyl on all four is in very nice shape and super-clean. There are a few stray hairline marks scattered around. They all play well and sounds great with no skips. There is a bit of crackle in spots, but hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears or stickers but they do have a bit of light scuffing. This is a really solid copy overall. 

Box Condition: VG, has some wear on the bottom side with some surface tearing. Other than that it's just some light scuffing and minor shelf wear. Great color and interior is very clean.


All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another auction: R&B/doo-wop/blues 78's.
