Description
Decca Mono LK 4635 The Applejacks 1964 First Issue Birmingham Group.
During a recent clearance of a relatives property
approximately 575 vinyl records were found stored in a dry insulated loft space.
The vinyl spans the decades from the 1950’s to the mid 1990’s, the earlier, decades have been in storage since 1975, the later decades since 2006.
I’m informed that although a good percentage of the records are of little value, there are some fairly rare items, having been in storage for up to 48 years most sleeves vary in condition and the majority have that slight “old paperback” odour as they were never put in plastic sleeves, but a lot of the vinyl looks in very good condition.
I’ve borrowed an Akai AP-M640 turntable, Mission Cyrus 1 amp and NAD 801 speakers
to try them out.
I’ll be as honest as I can about what’s on offer but if you have any specific queries, please message me, I’ve noticed quite a few records have a slight warp, so all records will be listed as slight warp, whether they are or not.
All vinyls will be despatched in Music Max Mailers,
with corrugated fillers where necessary for one vinyl. The delivery will be UK small parcel signed for with compensation, costing £4.69

Nice clean vinyl.
Side one plays with absolutely no sound between tracks.
Side two majority clear maybe 1 or 2 a bit crackly.
Music very engaging, I played it again this morning.
5 lads and a lady in the group, I think 3 of them were still in school in 1962/3
Front cover laminated, front edge worn and fibres pulpy, and discoloured a bit
Spine breaking up but intact and you can read the group name, the label and the catalogue number just a bit scruffy between the info.
Inner sleeve good covered with adverts BUT it's an EMI sleeve and I don't think EMI was ever part of Decca ? or vice versa.
Back cover, not laminated and very grubby with same pulpy condition of opening edge as front.
