Here's the start of a high quality early stereo list from us this week, some very exciting chamber music, rare repertoire and great unusual Piano items. Most of it runs from Sunday to Sunday.
Fantastic sounding earliest (1970)reissue of amongst the priciest SXL sets. Uk Decca Ace of Diamonds GOS issue Mozart's Don Giovanni Krips & the VPO with soloists Gueden Della Casa Danco Siepi and Corena Box set. This has the Lyric book, and is in the shiny finish box, with nice low 1G3G1G1G1G2G stampers. The decca engineers rated their reissue series of the earliest SXL's as far superior sonically to the 1sts, as all the years of experience had helped them master their craft.
