Description

Decca Records stereo three disc boxed set, SET 561-3, narrow band label discs have "Made in England..." across the top of the label.  First label for this issue.  Pressed in England.  Stampers are 5GR 7GR 7GR 5GR .  Puccini, Turandot, complete opera, with Joan Sutherland, Luciano Pavarotti, Nicolai Ghiaurov, and Tom Krause.  Zubin Mehta conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra.  Great sound and tremendous performance, one of the great opera recordings.  Listed in The Absolute Sound Super Disc List.  See pics for complete cast.
