Description

Decca SXL 2009 - Berlioz - Symphonie Fantastique - Paris Conservatoire/Argenta. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.

This is one the first of the Decca ffss records that I bought when theSXL series was first released in 1958. I have played it to check that it for faults and found that there are two noticeable clicks on side one but I cannot see anything on the record that would be the cause. The cover is a little worn on the front edges with the laminate coming off slightly for about1 cm. The label has ORIGINAL RECORDING BY at 10 o'clock. On the run out ZAL-3805-1E on side one and ZAL-3806-1E on side two. On the bottom right of thecover is B&M 58.8

This is the third of this series I am selling, the other I also have,all bought new by myself in a record shop in Hendon, is SXL 2020 plus somelater 1960 ones which I shall gradually put on eBay once checked. All theserecords have been kept in a World Record Club container for many years and notbeen played for more than 50 years. I also have a number of the SKL series
