Description

I have been selling on Discogs.com for 7 years where my seller name is Winnard and I have a 100% seller rating - 465 feedbacks. I do not normally sell records in this condition; however, this item is comparatively rare and may still be saleable in this condition.  The disc looks better than it sounds: it has faint hairlines and very light scratches that cannot be felt with a fingertip, but no ugly scuffs. On closer inspection there is some clear groove wear that accompanies the substantial spindle marks.  Early in Side 2, the groove wear overwhelms the music for a couple of seconds and causes the stylus to jump. The overwhelming majority of the record is pleasantly listenable, but there are noticeable clicks and background crackle in places, especially on Side 1. There are better examples of this record for sale out there; at a price.
The disc is housed in a period Decca FFSS printed inner.  The jacket is the earliest scalloped flipback with blue borders, laminated on both sides. Bottom right on the back of the jacket is the date mark 58.8.  The jacket has minor shelf/handling/ring wear and the laminate is starting to lift in places: graded VG.
Matrix numbers on runouts: ZAL-3805-1E, ZAL 3806-1E
FYI: ED1 stands for "English Decca 1st Label" and is used correctly here.
For shipping, the disc inside its inner sleeve will be removed from the jacket and both will be retained in a PVC wallet.  The item will be shipped in a commercial Defenda mailer made of corrugated cardboard with extra stiffener.
