Decca SXL 2058 ED1 Wide Band MOZART Cosi Fan Tutte KARL BOHM conducting VIENNA Philharmonic 1959.
One of many quality ORIGINAL classical recordings MAINLY UK FIRST PRESSINGS I will be listing over the coming days all from a SUPERB ONE OWNER COLLECTION purchased new in the "Golden Age" 1950s-60s. I have acquired the collection direct from the gentleman's widow - they were bought from new, mostly PLAYED ONCE on highest quality equipment and recorded on reel to reel and then ARCHIVED away. Hence most of the vinyl in this collection is unmarked and just like new. I will point out any flaws (should there be any) as I individually list each one.
This one is DECCA SXL 2058 Wide Band (ED1 label - "Original Recording" at 10 O' clock), (1959) 4/59 on rear cover, 1k & 3e matrix. Original liner sleeve in super condition. The labels are in excellent condition. Outer sleeve is near mint. The vinyl looks near mint with just a few wispy paper removal lines, looking like only been played one or two times MAXIMUM. Overall this grades as near mint which won't need upgrading.
